Trauma-Informed Movement
At Integrative Therapy NQ, we understand that wellbeing extends beyond the mind. Our experiences, emotions, stress, and trauma are often carried within the body, influencing how we move, feel, and engage with the world around us.
Trauma-Informed Movement offers a gentle, compassionate, and evidence-informed approach to supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing. Through a combination of Trauma-Informed Yoga, Trauma-Informed Pilates, and Restore, Stretch & Relax sessions, individuals are invited to reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels safe, empowering, and meaningful.
Unlike traditional fitness programs, these sessions are not focused on performance, appearance, or pushing beyond your limits. Instead, they emphasise body awareness, nervous system regulation, mindful movement, and self-compassion.
Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, honouring their unique needs and experiences.
Whether you are seeking support for stress, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, chronic tension, reduced mobility, or simply looking to cultivate greater balance and wellbeing, Trauma-Informed Movement provides a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect, and heal.
